Mission Advancement Director

Rev. Fabio Sosa is the new Mission Advancement Director at the Heartland Synod. In 2015, he was ordained as a minister of Word and Sacrament by the Passaic Valley Classis in New Jersey and in 2019, his ordination was transferred to the Central Plains Classis.

Fabio is a Master Coach for the Hispanic Pastors network in Texas, Nebraska, New York and 
Connecticut for central Plains Classis, Fabio is also part of the international and multiplication team in Central Plains Classis. Additionally, he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Council for Hispanic Ministries of the Reformed Church in America.

Fabio has a passion for helping and training new generations of pastors, supporting them in
their individual ministry process. In his role as Mission Advancement Director, Fabio plays a
crucial role in the regional, national, and Global Churches connections. Their job is to motivate and develop in the 6 Classis of the Synod: mission and expansion in this new stage of growth in Heartland Leaders.

Fabio leads his coaching ministry, (Fabio Sosa Ministries) and provides assistance to hundreds of pastors worldwide. He is currently in his third year of the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) program at Western Theological Seminary. He is married to Silvina Massaglia, and they have two sons, Lucas Daniel and Marcos.
