Rev. Fabio Sosa
Director of Mission and Advancement
Heartland Regional Synod Master Coach and International Leader in Pastoral Coaching
Reverend Fabio Sosa is a key leader in the advancement of mission and leadership development within the Heartland Regional Synod. He plays a crucial role in expanding the vision of the Reformed Church in America (RCA). He was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacraments in 2015 by the Classis of Passaic Valley (RCA) in New Jersey, marking the beginning of a career dedicated to transformation and ministerial growth.
With over a decade of experience as a Master Coach, Fabio is recognized as one of the first Hispanic pastors to transition into coaching, pioneering the development of coaching programs tailored for the Hispanic ministry in the United States. As a coach, he has established himself as a unique leader in Latin America, working with pastors and leaders across Spanish-speaking countries, helping them transform their ministerial, personal, and pastoral approaches.
In his role as Director of Mission and Advancement, Fabio not only connects churches regionally, nationally, and globally within the Synod, but also leads the Together Junto project, an initiative that unites the 7 Classis of the Heartland Regional Synod in the mission of expansion and church planting. This project not only impacts local congregations but is also consolidating a network of leaders committed to the growth of the Reformed Church in America, involving hundreds of leaders in its global mission.
Fabio Sosa Ministries, his personal coaching ministry, has transformed the lives of hundreds of pastors worldwide. His work has reached new frontiers, expanding not only throughout the United States but also globally, including Africa as the most recent continent in his reach. This not only highlights his impact on pastoral leadership but also his ability to adapt and expand ministerial coaching to different cultural and regional contexts.
Founder of Fabio Sosa Ministries since 2012 and creator of the US Coaching Academy, a global certification academy in pastoral coaching, Fabio has paved the way in areas such as theological formation, church organization, and pastoral care, positioning himself as one of the few and first to consolidate pastoral coaching as a fundamental tool for ministry in Latin America.
Currently, he is in the final stages of his Doctorate in Ministry (D.Min.) at the Western Theological Seminary.
He is married to Silvina Massaglia, who is also an ordained minister, and they have two children: Lucas Daniel and Marcos Nicolás.
